Nuclear holocaust survivors, superheroes and quick-witted legal types will culminate together on TV3 next year, as part of next year's 2007 line up.
Local favourites bro'Town and Outrageous Fortune are set to return next year, alongside top American series' House, Boston Legal, CSI (all three versions), Prison Break and 24.
At an event launch in Auckland's Britomart precinct last night, TV3 programme director Kelly Martin announced Heroes, Jericho and Shark as her picks for 2007's top shows. "If it worked in 2006, it will be back in the time slot, on the same day, in 2007. If it ain't broke, we won't be fixing it".
Movies making their free-to-air television debuts on TV3 next year, include King Kong, Kingdom of Heaven, Ray and the 40-Year-Old Virgin. Australian funny man Rove McManus can still call TV3 home, as can perennial favourites The Simpsons – entering their 18th season. Next year will also see exclusive sport including the IRB Rugby World Cup and the A1 Grand Prix.
